Things are happening fast today. At 8 am I met with the Encana landman to look over and give final approval for the site and road locations. Before he left the Location Coordinator had come by with one of the dirt contractors. Next the TXDOT representative came by to make a determination about the location and design of the driveway entrances. He indicated that shakers would be required for the trucks before they come out onto the highway. A shaker looks a lot like a cattle guard but it is rougher for the trucks to cross. This helps to keep some of the mud and rocks from falling off after the truck enters the state highway.
