Drilling on the home place continues at a slow pace with only a few hundred feet to go before the surface casing can be set. After the surface casing is set the problem with the erosion of the sand will no longer exist. They are considering using a new directional drilling system for the remainder of the vertical hole that is quite expensive but it is automatic and should drill faster than the other systems which require frequent pulling of the drill stem.



Water continues to rise in the pond at the north place. A track hoe was moved in today to start work on the drain pipe for this pond.
